Re: Milwaukee Mile Bleachers available

Well, I'm glad I went I think 4 years ago or so when they had the IndyCar/USAC races. I think there were 7 races that weekend, and it was a fantastic event.

Re: Midget Races at Banker's Life

Ticketmaster = the mob. I was caught a little off guard by the $11.50 "service" fee per ticket. Plus I printed the ticket off myself lol.

Re: Tony's #20 USAC Sprint Car

The huge billboard on top of a wing car has to look attractive to sponsors as well.

Thanks, very helpful as I really hadn't thought about paying attention to what people run at a given track. We're pretty well right between Kokomo and Mini-Indy. We've been to Kokomo and will...

Quarter Midget starter car

We're looking for a starter car for our daughter. I'm pretty well clueless on QM stuff, but since she's pretty tiny I'm guessing we need a smaller car. I've found a 76" American GT with a Honda 120....

Here's what I read -"just saw a TV commercial for the USAC show at TSS". Good for them doing a little advertising!

Re: 11 things promoters must do...

For the younger crowd (I'm 33, I like to think I'm sort of in that category) the biggest thing a track can do is #4 - move the show along. There are so many entertainment options that many people...

Re: The 500

It's not just lack of overall interest in the Indianapolis 500. It's a lack of interest in all racing. As I sat in turn 3 watching the sea of humanity in the snake pit, I thought to myself if it...

Re: USAC Champ Cars at Indy!

I think the Night Before the 500 is in real trouble. Just 3 or 4 years ago it was pulling 25-30 cars. Will they have 10 this year? It's sad because pavement midgets at IRP make a really good show.

Re: Jim Nabors

I can't get behind a recording, either. My hope is they find another solo vocalist who can get the emotion into the song, just like Jim Nabors, and that they get someone who will do it on an annual...

Re: Indy Qualifications

I believe too everyone 10-33 re-qualifies. What I'm not sure of is if 1-9 re qualify to set the fast 9 order or if it's based on Saturdays time. Regardless, I think this is a good move. Sunday has...

Donated the other day. Was surprised to get an email today from Brenda and Dave thanking me for my support. I'm glad I'm able to do a little to help such class acts achieve a dream!

Hypothetical question

If IndyCar were to stage a race at IRP, say in August, how well do you think it would be attended? Does anyone else think the racing would be good?
