Re: Ocala

Going to USAC sprints at Ocala and 2 days of pavement for the Dave Steele race in Pinellas. Maybe a little rub in but haven't been in 9 years to sprints in Florida. Retired for a while :)

Re: Question re: lapped cars to the tail

In most races the guy leading or top 3 work their tails off to put a decent car sometimes a lap down. Not liking it if I am up front leading. And the guy just put a lap down has no chance of getting...

Live audio

Any live audio of the Chili bowl? Seems a little steep what they want to watch. I get a whole season of usac for about the same as 5.5 days of this indoor event.

Re: Sterling Cling?

I think usac needs to change the way the don't like the start of a race other than just holding a green flag still waiting for them to see yellow lights on the back chute. I do think some drivers...

Re: IMS Sold to Penske

That's what i don't get. Tony G is much younger. It must be a figure that the Hulman's couldn't resist. I think and hope RP will be a good steward though. The guy you have to give him credit. He...

Re: Four crown rating

These are marathon evenings since the Tony has decided to shove the allstars down our throats the last 3 or 4 years. No track prep all night. It was like the 4 crowns presented by the allstars. When...

Re: Chuck Amati or Jim Hurtubise ?

Thunder and Lightning division. A great take on what you were about to see. Small block engines, smaller tires on big tracks and usually close racing. I remember 2 good announcers in the 70's that...

Re: Smackdown takeaways

I thought it was one of the best if not the best yet. Weather cooperated, car counts were good and racing was over the top. Really competitive all days. I especially like the fact it was only sprint...

Re: Indycar - Pocono. NASTY wreck again. This one on 1st lap

The interview with Hunter Ray says it all. They can not come from the rear and pass the field the way the cars are. So they all jump anything they can get from the start and any restart. TK said the...

Re: Why Darlabd canít keep a ride?

Dave is one of the last that won on pavement and dirt with usac sprints. Sprints are all dirt now in usac and they are successful with it. I think they are doing well. Competition is really tough...

Re: Flo Path Valley Stream

It's a trade off for the price now. I was spending upwards of $200 a month to watch usac with speedshift. They had a better stream consistently. Now for $150 a year I get 100 races or more and...
