I seem to recall a midweek MSCS race some years back where 13 cars showed up. Smoke pulled out a Jones backup car and drove around in last place to make it 14 cars.

Why not let it run as the night goes on. To me it's what makes sprint car racing exciting If you can hit it right several laps in a row, you can move forward many positions.

I saw Darland do that...

No cooler rule is going to keep me from traveling to a race. $5 to park won't either. There are plenty of drinkers in the parking lot when they don't like the cost of beer inside.

FLO is not the determining factor on whether I go to the track or not. It is nice to have but it does not match a live race experience.
