I hardly ever miss a Sprint car race at Kokomo ....This Friday the Lucas Oil Late Models will run at Kokomo ...What do you all think it will be like ??..They do look kinda good on Mav TV...But also...

Fast , but very boring ..wont go again ...sticking with smaller tracks ..Kokomo, Gas City etc ..slower , but really good close racing ...

Going for the 23 rd straight year ...my only pavement race every year ..other than that its Kokomo & Gas City ...But I do love the Little 500..the 4-5 pace laps are awesome ......

Anyone remember listening to Sid Collins back in the 50`s .....He could sure paint a really nice picture of the race and each car..I can still hear his voice ...I got the 1955 500 dvd when it came...

Done that three years ago ....Worth the money ...A friend & I flew out from Indiana and took the 100 lap class .....50 laps in Midget ..50 Laps in Sprinter ....He really took time with us and watered...

I attended his driving school three years ago (I was 72 at that time ) and drove 100 laps in Sprint car & Midget ..He was very friendly and took a great interest in me...even watered the track twice...

This is a neat race ..those cars are a long way from what people picture of Figure 8 cars ..These are real race cars.
