Re: Some POWRi News - 2020 and beyond.

I enjoy watching that series when I can, I hope their future continues to be bright.

Re: Eastern Storm question

I might be a bit biased toward an east coast driver but I would have to say Timmy Buckwalter. He was running pretty well up to the Grandview race. Drevicki is also a super choice for us homers....

Re: A Very Cool NOS Video

Interesting video. Seems like just the CMR team was included. Explosions on the racing surface seems a bit over the top for me but then again I'm getting older.

Re: My health and other topics

Glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. I have a couple of things to ask about your accident if you don't mind? Did another car or part from a car enter your roll cage to cause your...

Re: F1 - Halo to the Rescue (Spoiler)

Maybe I don't pay enough attention to The 500 like I used to. Jack Hewitt I remember, Jack Harvey no.
I can tell you are a bit more passionate about this subject than I am, I am a Neanderthal just...

Re: F1 - Halo to the Rescue (Spoiler)

I didn't know there was a guy named Jack Harvey racing Indy cars. Did he come from a short track racing background? Not sure about you but racing has always be exciting to me for several reasons, and...

Re: F1 - Halo to the Rescue (Spoiler)

That can't be the same Jack Harvey that is the crew chief for Jimmy Wilson, he would never say such a thing. lol. Indy car lost me when it went to fender cars. I still watch the 500 but that's it....

Re: F1 - Halo to the Rescue (Spoiler)

This may not be a PC statement, but I miss the days when I could see a driver(s) fighting the steering wheel through the corners. Now with the drivers being surrounded and encapsulated you really...

Re: Camping for 2019 Oval Nationals at Perris!!..

Its a shame to hear that one of the premier events at the end of our racing the season gets such a bad rap. I hope to make it out there some day, I hear its a really nice place. Hopefully the ruling...

Re: Showtime speedway announces huge feb. Non-wing event

$5,000 to win for a 2 day show with 100+laps the final day doesn't seem like enough money to bring the northern cars down to florida.

Re: Four crown rating

After watching a winged parade at my local track last night it was refreshing to come home and see some decent racing on Flo. I was home in time to see all of the usac features and was very pleased...

Re: Usac: Windom a gas city giant in james dean classic

Pretty good racing on one of my favorite tracks. How did Chris Windom get the nickname Big Daddy, I thought he used to be The Bear?

Re: Oval Nationals Purse

Didn't that race used to pay 10 or 20 thousand to the winner on the final night?

Re: BC39 Backstretch

People standing during the racing is a problem. You can't expect people to listen to an announcer so you must tell the standing offenders yourself. I've had to do it for decades and my friends do it...

Re: Floracing

Just got done watching the replay as I can't stay awake for west coast races. Pretty good racing on a decent track that had an upper and lower racing groove. The nice thing about the replay is I can...

Re: Usac: Chase johnson wins wild petaluma feature

Not much of a write up but the video of the feature is pretty wild, a bit long but lots of action. Nice cowboy up track. Thanks to flo for letting me see the replay of it. Its just to hard to stay...

Re: IndyCar Back to Richmond

What ever happened to the PPIR track? Back in the day it seemed like a pretty nice track. I'm not really a road race fan but on natural courses they can be bearable. Tracks I'd like to see Indy cars...

Re: Floracing for the win again.

My picture paused and knocked for a while so I switched over to the west coast racing for a while, not much going on there. I restarted my computer and went back to flo and everything was fine. Great...

Re: Usac: Austin williams wins shortened calistoga feature

Wow, a 7+ hour marathon for 2 divisions, about 42-43 cars. I started watching at 7:30 eastern time and they were just finishing TTs, then a 90 or so minute break until a competitive lap was run...

Re: Vermilion Co Speedway (Danville, IL) - Track Being Bulld

Thanks Mr. Dobson for your insight on how fairs and track need to work together to co exist. One hand washes the other. I gotta say you are one of most interesting and transparent promoters out...

Re: Flo Racing

I have also had FLO for about a month. I finally received good internet service so I wanted to try it. I have had IMO minimal problems. Once in a while it buffers for a couple of seconds, if it does...
