Re: 2011 Haubstadt Schedule Posted
I just hope that I can make it to Haubstadt again this year. It's been too long.
Also, in this day and age, I don't care what the schedule is, I'm just glad that a track is open for another...

Re: Eastern swing/Sprint weeks
Looking forward to Lincoln again this year. Since they pulled IMW in a week, it now falls on the Dream100 weekend and I'm hoping to hit Gas City, LPS and Kokomo.

Re: New Nonwinged Series in Ohio
Glad to see non-wing coming to the Ohio Valley. The WVMS show sounds interesting seeing as they are cutting the track down to a 4/10 (although I hate I never got to see a Silver Crown race on the...

I'll be there. Thankful to get one USAC National event in our area this year. Also hoping the race is supported by the fans better than the midget event at Hickory last year.
Will also be...

Re: What is your favorite and why?
As far as the racing, I like them all equally. Sixties will always be special to me since that's when I was introduced to sprint cars.
As far as the overall scene, to me the things have been on...

Damn, who runs that track, the mob?
And isn't this the same POS track that was too cheap to put up fencing in front of their pit stands? Just a dirt ramp and a late model flew into the stands...

Re: 10 more days USAC Indiana Sprint Week!!
I've never seen USAC at Brownstown, so I will try to make it up there for that one. Then head to Ohio for MSA supermods at Kil-Kare with the Focus midgets.

Re: 4-crown
Let's face it, it hasn't been the Four Crown since USAC didn't have four divisions to crown anymore.
I miss the mods and the Fri/Sat format that was used.
I don't like the WoO being part of...

Madhouse didn't change anything. It was an accurate portrayal of what goes on every weekend at BGS. That's why I've only been there a couple of times even though I live only 45 minutes from the...

That's a nice 50% increase over the 16 that were committed two days ago. And the weather cleared out before it had a chance to flood the "Hill".
Guess I should have hit the road this morning. ...

This has convinced me that I need to go. With only 16 cars committed, this might be the last eastern swing and I really want to see the non wing at Lincoln again.
I'll probably skip Grandview...

I was at Charlotte. Saldana pulled out during the 4-wide lap leaving the pole open and Johnny announced this was to honor Jesse Hockett. Nice tribute to a great racer.

Just read this terrible news on the USAC website. Shocking.

Nothing against Klepper, appreciated hearing him at Hickory with the midgets, but want to give credit where credits due.

Go Duke Devils and the Atlantic Coast Conference (except Carolina).
Congrats to Butler for a great game. They should be very proud of the team and they should be a power next season.

Cograts to Butler for making the championship final but I'll be pulling for our Duke Blue Devils. But, if Butler wins it all, I won't be disappointed.

USAC Needs to Respond to Eldora Fiasco
I've read all the posts on a couple of message boards. I've looked at the photos from Friday. If USAC had the kahunas, they need to place Eldora on probation thru 2011. During this time period, if...
