I agree the old format was best, we always had plenty of time enjoy ourselves, not rushed to get several races done in one night & then have to drive home and it alowed for make up time the next day...

I remenber this car as a child and Dad ran it at the Mitchell track. The car number 194 was also the phone number at Johnson's Standard Station.

Here is a picture of the Todd built sprinter that Johnny ran for several years and he still has it. The car had parallel torsion on the front and cross torsion on the back. Also, it only had manual...
