USAC and big time late models has always been my favorite type of show. 4 Crowns are still awesome, but I LOVED when the late models were the 4th race. Haubstadt ran sprints and late models together...

I had always been under the impression that one of the reasons Tony Stewart left JGR was so he had more freedom to run some dirt. That may not be the case, but that was my impression.

They mentioned multiple times during the Hustler that they were racing uncer MSCS rules. They defined the difference between those rules and the USAC rules at least once, and I thought I heard them...
