LPS does pay $300 to start the A main, and $200 for the B. Also note they charge $20 for a transponder if you dont have your own.

The Knoxville Corn Belt Nationals was a 2 day event co sanctioned by WAR,MWRA and USAC, and near 60 cars. Taking away Friday night for the NASCAR trucks killed that momentum.

Regarding car count, this event is an invitational.....unlike the Chili Bowl. So that explains only having 40 cars.

That won't happen, but at least the last race they ran there was the MSCS race back in July 2018.
