Generally, all the tracks are the same way. But you're at their mercy as to what they cover.

In my experience, most were at 50k excess medical.

I supposed that 1:22 minute show during Gas City sprint week where we beat the tornadoes and had the semi transfers/feature lineup to the trailer before the cars were off the track from the semi...

This was the first Indiana Sprint Week race I'd ever attended and I was shocked to know that I could buy a 50/50 ticket and roam the pits until the cars hit the track. He did so many little things...

I was flagging in Lincoln, IL when Sam brought the MSCS Steel Block series in for one of the first times...I believe that was one of the first times Chase sat in a non-wing car at 12 or 13 years...

If you can go see them on their home turf, it's worth it.

Grandview comes to mind during Eastern Storm but even a weekly show at one of their home tracks is worth it...

When I was with MOWA...we had a 25-lapper won by Danny Smith that was caution-free in about 5 and a half minutes...

Why go to Macon...

1. You're gonna get a full feature payout and only put 5...

I'll put the over/under at time saved for two-car qualifying at 8-minutes...for folks that are efficient with single-car qualifying, multiple car qualifying just usually makes people feel...

Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa still runs on Wednesday nights. They're the only track that I can think of that runs a weekly show on Wednesday nights. I think they're moderately successful for...

Leader plus 1 at the scoring loop unless it's the checkered...leader across the scoring line (the front of the flagstand, not the scoring loop on the last lap) ends the race, then it split scores...

$20 isn't the price point for a weekly show...let alone $25...you would get folks that might be curious in the beginning...but you show me a weekly track that charges $25 grandstands every week every...

Think about this...NASCAR model...sign a big billion dollar TV deal...the $$$ trickles down to the sanction, the tracks and the teams - not all at the same percentage of course. IndyCar model...signs...

Ideally, you run like you have rain coming...even if you don't have rain coming...then you can slow down if you feel like you need to and you're not out of practice if you actually do have rain...

ARCA Midwest Tour is the closest to the old ASA. Gregg McKarns does a great job with that deal - you might recognize him as the new guy at Angell Park...

The CRA guys are pretty solid...

Everyone criticized the Fast 32 format with qualifying races - as I recall, it was a "get with the times" argument...now we're wanting to add heats to give the 48th fastest guy/gal a better shot at...
