As long as your bolt holes match up, you can cut the openings in the ports to match your head. I use a die grinder to cut out the material that is blocking the ports so the exhaust leaves without...

We use a chemical stripper for aircraft and a water blaster with a rotary nozzle. Any primer is ok as long as it is compatable with the paint. We haven't had problems with the new paint.
