I myself would answer that question like this, yes there are advantages to the aftermarket box IF you have a power commander and can find a chassis tuner like the one I just found in my back yard...

I also had an 08 GSXR on a PMP micro and that motor ran like a scalded dog. I would suggest keeping the stock cooler configuration. I killed my motor jumping out onto the track without properly...

The guy I bought the car from said the computer had been "reprogrammed" I wonder why this wouldnt have been the first order of business once the program was opened up.
