Re: All Stars on Speedvision

Just asking a question John. Were you expecting someone from Knoxville, Speedvision, or Dirt vision to get on here to answer? Or were just trying to take a shot at Flo and USAC again. Just curious.

Re: Bloomington

I was speaking of more recent events. Like all the bashing when USAC announced a $20,000 to win race at Knoxville, or there won't be enough cars at IMS. One reason PA pays more is the tracks have...

Re: Bloomington Stands

Totally agree. At Bloomington Friday, I had 4 different people offer me extra seats if I brought a chair. I would sacrifice comfort for a good view for everyone.

Re: Lps

I thought this was a real good show. Loved that the track didn't black off early. Thought it was a well run show. Over pretty early even with power problems that were beyond anyone's control.

Re: Bloomington

I thought it was a real good race. I don't get to Bloomington all that often, but last night was the best I have seen there in quite some time. Remember when USAC tries to think bigger, there are...

Re: Bloomington Stands

We were in a handicapped parking space in turn 4. We could not see much of the front straight. That includes in front of us where there was no new grandstand. I would like to see a big steep...

Re: Lburg, sprint week

I thought it was a very efficient show. Are you sure you didn't mean all drama zone?

That race was really good from heats to finish. Glad I didn't have to make the call. Leary is strong every night

Re: Usac: Eldora #letsracetwo results: 7/17/2019

I personally think the track is better now. The fast way last night was on the top, but there were other competitive options. I prefer 2 or 3 grooves over slide jobs. Also there was dust last night,...

Re: Usac: Indiana sprint week start times shifted

I have a friend who lives in Arizona who has kids who play baseball. They play in the winter, because its too hot in the summer. Now if we were on central time, like we should be, this would really...

Re: Indiana Sprint Heat

USAC doesn't schedule support classes the tracks do. I agree though. I think the people who have suggested starting later have the right idea. The only problem I see is with time zone we are in it...

Re: Plymouth to Kokomo

31 is under construction south of US 24. If you are heading north to Plymouth from Indy, 931 is closed and you can't get on 31. You need to take 31 around Kokomo. You will still get delayed, mostly...

Re: Gas City i-69 speedway

Pretty good show. I was happy with the car count, and the racing was pretty good. On the road at 9:45. The track was in good shape even with all day sun. Never blacked off, and fast.

Re: USAC Cornbelt Nats Night 1

Glad you made it to Sun Prairie. Heard it was a good show. I loved telling the locals sitting behind us that the wing feature winner was from Kokomo.

Re: Atomlc speedway Oak Ridge Tn.

I was only there once. It was an early spring All Star show. Drizzled the whole time. Joey Saldana turned a 10.9 in qualifying. Pretty quick for a third mile. Feature was rained out after a huge...

Re: USAC Cornbelt Nats Night 1

One of the things that made this event cool, was the big event feel. Having the Hall of Fame right there is great. Parked my car and my motel, a grocery store, a Casey's, the Dingus, and a couple of...

Sorry it didn't work out for you, but your apology is pure class. I can't believe your original post was allowed to stay. If it would have mentioned one of the sacred cows instead of USAC, it would...

Re: USAC Cornbelt Nats Night 1

I think a stiff breeze also factored in on track prep. I thought both nights were great. Race for the lead wasn't that great on Saturday. (it was on Friday) Second thru sixth was real good. Had a...

Re: Milwaukee Wisconsin Dirt Track Question.

The one time I was at Hales Corners, the track was so hard packed that the water truck did a 360 coming off 4, and didn't leave any marks. This was at like an hour before hot laps.
