Re: Well....What About That Silver Crown Race?

The thing that concerns me more than anything isn't humorous at all. If you have intentional bumping at the front of the field, you have no control over what it could turn into. Someone getting...

Re: Well....What About That Silver Crown Race?

If I was flagging the black flag would have been used before the last lap. Where are the officials?

Either you have rules and enforce them properly, or you have nothing.

Re: Gambler History

Correct ...Been to the facility in Hendersonville, TN. Tommy Sanders was there at the time. I think they may have built custom motorcycles there at one time.

Re: Kevin Thomas Jr

KT Jr adds credibility to any show and is one of, if not THE biggest drawing card, as a driver in open wheel racing.

Re: Little 500 Question

I have only been a couple times but it seemed the track had great food. Not sure how they dealt with 6 cylinders but they could deal with tenderloins at the time.

Re: 64th FINAL Hoosier 100 USAC Champ Cars &Mods @Indy Mile

The race last night and the first night race at DuQuoin had to be my all time favorite champ car races.

Just an overall great race, couldn't have been better as a fan.

Is the track to...

Re: USAC National Sprints @ Terre Haute?!

The thing I think hurting racing everywhere is this: shows running too long.

Now Terre Haute last night ran pretty quick but there were only 3 heats and a feature. I am sure a Wednesday night...

Re: Indy practice

Charging 40$ to watch qualification day, isn't going to aid in bringing in new fans and thus put more fans in the seats. The per lap timing coverage on the screen was non-existent during the NBC...

Re: Indy practice

I signed up but it stinks to think you pay over $200 a month for TV coverage and NBC has channels on cable and satellite they could show it on. The Speedway should make that mandatory in the package...

Re: Indy practice

Last year there was a lot of great online coverage. It is sad to see such a great event get so little coverage. Sounds like some questionable marketing decisions.

We have considered owning and partnering on USAC sprint and dirt champ car(s) over the years.
The business case is one of love of racing, fun and some advertising benefit.

Re: Indy 500 " lock-ins" !?!?!

What would be better than Johnny Parsons coming out of the garage area with about a half hour left in qualifying. Take one practice run, then bump someone and put it in the show. That is what Indy is...

USAC is THE premier professional open wheel organization and has been for years. You have tracks and advertisers who count on USAC to have this type of races. USAC is bigger than any one racer.

If...
