Re: Lincoln Speedway (PA) To Introduce Virtual Flagman

Lincoln is my home track. I've been sitting in the same spot almost every week for forty years, I've seen a lot of changes in those years. I guess the current owners are trying to take things to the...

Re: Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek - 2024 Schedule

Are you saying the PA track promoters get out there and actually promote? They really don't, PA speedweek has grown into something that promotes itself and the tracks are fortunate to be involved.

Re: USAC Silver Crown Jennerstown Speedway

Thanks for that schedule info, I wasn't sure if midgets would be back at Path Valley, it's a great track run by great people. Hopefully they get a good fan turn out this time. I'll head to...

Re: USAC Silver Crown Jennerstown Speedway

I've never been to Jennerstown, been by it a few times during its transitions from dirt and pavement but never seen a race there. The speedway is about 3 hours from me and it's on my bucket list and...

Re: Chet Christner

I wouldn't mind seeing Drake get the nod if he so desires. He may not have snappy redundant phrases but he knows the sport. He knows the venues, the teams, the cars, and is getting the hang of the...

Re: Haubstadt Hustler

[QUOTE=CRA91;568624]If that little bop would have caused his helmet to be damaged he better buy a better helmet. What kind of damage do you think a 100mph rock does to a helmet and yet they last all...

Re: Haubstadt Hustler

From my seat in front of the TV it appeared that Gentry ran over the wheel of a slower car, a racing accident. That little bop with the steering wheel probably damaged an expensive helmet as it was...

Re: Usac: Last lap, last turn hero: Seavey scores photo fini

What a fun race! It seems like many people are critical of the track and I'm having a hard time understanding why when the facility produces some good racing whenever I'm watching on TV. I enjoyed...

Re: Posting photos on IOW

I'm pretty sure you have to load your photos into a site like photo bucket and them somehow load them on this site. I would like to just be able to do it with my phone too but I'm not sure if there...

Re: The Outlaws

I've seen this photo on FB. All are legends including Ted Johnson, not nearly as popular as the drivers but the man had a vision and created the greatest show on dirt. Like the Outlaws or not they...

Re: 31 at Bloomington

I don't understand the problem with the two tracks running. Some teams may feel they have no chance of being competitive at the national show but stand a better chance of having a good showing at...

Re: Alex Bright

Get Well Alex!! I've followed his career for about 10 years now and he is fun to watch. Bad wrecks and even worse wrecks happen in the sport we love, I don't like it either but we keep coming back....

Re: Usac: From despair to winning with a spare: Leary scores

The stop was kind of quick but thankfully not a sudden stop, the fence did its job but really ripped the car up. Moles is young and seemingly fearless, if the team has a car ready I'd bet he'll race...

Re: A Tip Of The Hat To Drake York

Agree 100%. We are very fortunate have two fine talents calling our races and asking the important questions. I bet the Dean of Motorsports journalism would be impressed.

Re: Usac: Jason cherry: Making it work

Great article! I raced with Jason in micros at Trailway speedway in PA about 20 years ago. He and his father were as low budget as me but they had one thing that kept them racing all these years.....

Re: 6/10/2023 - Lawrenceburg Speedway Results

I know how posts about The Burg rattle your chain (trust me I wasn't trying). I never questioned the quality of the racing, re read my post slowly.
