Re: School me on pressure washers/washing a sprint car

You have all been very helpful. It never dawned on me to plug the exhaust, that would not be an issue with a garden hose, but I can see where that would be a big deal when using a pressure washer.

Re: Shane Hmiel's HumpDay Summer Series for midgets @ Plymou

Looking at that link made me think that the Pro Sprints were running non-wing this weekend. I had to look twice.

School me on pressure washers/washing a sprint car

I could use a pressure washer for some projects here at home, but I'd also like to use it for washing a sprint car.

What type would IOW readers recommend? Gas or electric?

(*) I see electric...

Re: Pyramid Of Grip Seminar

Is there any chance this will be video recorded? I'd be happy to pay the $95.00 for a good recording.

Re: Midwest Promoters Need To Play Copycat

How about if races were done early enough so that fans could go into the pits when the races are over?

Re: USAC Now Allowing 15-year-olds to Compete

Since the dad is who put him there, the dad should bear full responsibility, including getting the full Hewitt treatment.

Re: USAC Now Allowing 15-year-olds to Compete

USAC is not in the racing business, it is in the business of selling memberships. No more, no less. Like a health club, except members bring their own equipment.

A 15 year old can race? No problem...

Re: Social Media & Negativity: Bad combination for dirt raci

The microphone at the track is not social media, it's just a driver being a knucklehead in public.

Social media and "constructive criticism" should be welcomed by all tracks.

In the past, if a...

Re: IUPUI and USAC Team Up to Study Tire Cheating

It's a shame they can't team up with scientists to make cars safer.

Re: Plymouth Speedway (IN): Tentative 2016 Schedule POSTED.

Sprint cars, short track, close to home, Saturday nights, weekly, everything I'd ever want.

Except, I can't find where else these cars are going to race.

While the cost of this engine makes...

Re: HARTFORD, MI - Track now a 4/10th mile.

I'll race there, prefer non-wing, but would go back with a wing. 410.

It's an hour from where I keep my car.

Nothing else is closer, except Plymouth. Can't bring myself to buy a motor that I...

Re: SOD has no rules in 2016

Is the thinking here that the size of the tire would offset a high horsepower motor? Would a monster motor just light up the tires? I can understand the thinking that the tires would equalize the...

Re: Hartford, MI MTS Sprint & Open Wing Sprint Invitational-

We love Hartford, just the way it is. I'd be there to watch this Friday, but already had vacation planned. If sprints are run weekly next year (prefer non-wing) we'll have a car there.
