I think it has more to do with heat. I've never broke one on rr always the lr . The heat from the header and brake will turn the axle to a copper color. I think its to much for the axle and pulls...

Valve order is changed. Very few places allow you to do that. It goes in-ex in-ex in-ex in-ex . Motors made good power and took the hot spot out of the center of the head.

I have a set of gb 2200 heads, 2 13/16 engler, and jesel rockers. heads need freshen 3300.
Also have a set of gb2500 mbe heads, cracked need repair. 2.900 engler and jesel spring oiler rockers....

wilmot in WI has a 604 non wing class. It puts on a good show for the first year of it.
