Kudos to whoever fixed or adjusted the PA system.... I could actually hear Scott even when cars when running and didn't have to resort to my phone to figure out who was driving what for the new year.

I thought Cocopah had a streaming deal with another outfit (Dirtvision?) and that's why Flo didn't stream the CRA races at Cocopah. I think that was the case in 2022 and it may still be the case.

No hard numbers, but I was at Perris two weeks ago and I thought the crowd was a good size, but there are now extra two support classes this year bringing people in whereas last year it was generally...

The race was excellent, and the crowd was decent for a change (no streaming of course). Sprint car and mini-sprint car counts not so good. Some regulars are in the midwest at the moment, but still...

I went to Hanford last night. Great race, but I'm not surprised by the serious concern... it feels like the CRA is in a death spiral.

Brownstown paid $1000 to win for late models in the mid to late 80's I seem to remember. I don't remember the admission price.

His brother Frank drove midgets in the 80s and 90s. I think I saw him run the Hoosier Dome race. I thought Cruz drove them as well back then, but I don't see any references to that.

Have you tried to reach Wayne Simmons? He owned Twister until about 2005 or so. He appears to be building cars and may be of help. My brother ran a Competition Welding copy of a 2002 or so...

Any chance a Halibrand bell can be used? Quick changes look to be based on a Ford Model A or similar axle. The early ones may retain that same 10 bolt pattern and bearing location from whatever...
