Building a Buick 215 powered vintage road racing sports car. Aside from the Buick, we'd like to bring some additional American hardware to the mostly British car crowd... namely, vintage Halibrand...

Does anyone know what shock absorbers were preferred in the roadster years, late 50s to mid-Sixties? Were they stock automobile shocks? If so, what stocks might they have been?
