Only 17 sprints on hand. Guess we'll get to see that old "quality vs. quanity" debate reved up again. On the bright side, it should be a quick program tonight.

Re: TSS updates?

As far as Haubstadt races go, it wasn't a great race. Average, as far as races in general are concerned. It was fast. You had guys running on the bottom, middle and top of the track. But, it just seems like it was hard for most drivers to do a lot of passing. Even this place has a so-so night, every now and then. The major race story, for most of the race was whether or not we were going to get to see Seth Parker break through and get his first win. He almost did it at the big, early season race @ Putnamville, only to be passed on the last lap by Dave Darland. No shame in that, as that has happened to many a driver. Then, tonight he led the entire first half of the race and looked to be in the process of checking out. A near spin and save coming into turn two, cost him both the margin he had and the lead. And another near spin coming into turn four shortly afterwards put him out of contention for good. Regardless, that's a name that probably not a whole lot of people were talking about before the season began, but a few are now, as he's put himself on the map.

Casey Riggs did a real great job knifing through lapped traffic and really had to work to earn this one, as he was being stalked and chased down by Brady Short. Who, for the second night in a row, would have to settle for the runner up spot.

We had a great time tonight, even though there was no TSS Instant Classic, the company was good and the low humidity allowed the near triple-digit temps to be tolerable.

Love to see a first time winner. That made it all worthwhile. Congratulations to you Casey Riggs on your first win over a very good field of cars. Casey seems to be a good christian kid, and we could all use more of that in these days. Thanks for an excellent show Casey..................
