Korbyn Hayslett

Any update on his condition after his nasty flip last night? I’ve checked Facebook and didn’t find anything

Spoke with him today. He is doing good. Has a slight concussion, and a partial collapsed lung.

Appreciate the info. Good to hear. Looked like it was much worse then that. Thankfully that’s all

How about Parker Fredrickson, is he OK, looked a bit woozy going to the ambulance.

He posted on Facebook, some bumps and bruises but otherwise ok.

Here is the latest from his Facebook page.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Korbyn. If you haven't read the previous post, Korbyn flipped his sprint car Saturday night at Kokomo speedway and was unconscious when track officials got to him. I know there were some rumors going around that he was life flighted from the track, but that is not true. He was transported by ambulance to the local hospital in Kokomo, where he was looked over and evaluated by the ER staff. He ended up with a concussion and the top portion of is lung was collapsed. He was released later that night a little after midnight. On Sunday he rested most of the day and felt pretty decent for the situation. However late Sunday night the concussion stuff kicked in pretty good. He was getting pretty dizzy and throwing up. All we can do at this point is wait patiently for things to get better. Please keep praying for a safe and somewhat speedy recovery for Korbyn. We will be taking this coming weekend off from racing and probably the next weekend as well. After that we will evaluate where he's at with his recovery and let everyone know.
