Little 500 reaches 47.... heavy hitters added
 

The 70th annual Payless Little 500 entry list up to 47 entries with recent additions; Justin Grant (Speed Chasers #64), Kenny Schrader (Brad Armstrong #99), Caleb Armstrong (traditional #7), Tanner Swanson (Mike Bowman #2), Nick Hamilton (Randy Burrow #9), Kyle O' Gara (SFH #67) and Ryan Litt (traditional #07). With expected entries from Shane Butler, Jacob Wilson and a few others.... we could reach 50 by next week!

Glad we'll be there for pole qualifying and bump day again this year, was cool watching the different team strategies play out.

What time is qualifying on Thursday? Would it be possible to catch pole day and the Silver crown show at the Indy MIle?

You should have plenty of time to make from Anderson Speedway to the Silver Crown events on both days.

Thursday -
* Little 500 Pole Day; Practice 11:30 -1:15PM, Qualifying 1:30 - 3:30 PM, Grandstand admission: Free, Pit Pass: $25
* Hoosier 100 USAC SC; Hot laps 5PM, Racing 7 PM

Friday -
* Little 500 Bump Day; Practice 11:30 -1:15PM, Qualifying 1:30 - 3:30 PM, Grandstand admission: Free, Pit Pass: $25
* Dave Steele Carb Classic 100 USAC SC; Qualifying 5 PM, Racing 8 PM

But remember Anderson is now running a 40 lap Non-Qualifiers race on Friday for the Sprints. If I were already at Anderson I would stick around instead of heading to IRP.

Will this race be for spots in the 500 or just an event for those that do not make 500?

Thanks for the heads ups. First trip to both they are on my bucket list.

This race is on my to do list some year. Quite a turn around in car count in recent years. Wasn’t it just a few years ago they were getting right at 33 cars.
