Do we have an ID on that first photo, at The Mile? I've got the candidates whittled down to Chuck Booth, Merle Bettenhausen, Arnold Knepper, Jackie Howerton and Rollie Beale.
I know I could just go next door to my brother, The Open Wheel Encyclopedia, but that's cheatin. (though I'll do it if all else fails)

I'm thinkin' Chuck Booth just based upon what little bit I can see of his helmet. Also, I can't quite see Arnie Knepper or Rollie Beale throwing the old one digit salute. :2: Gonna go check some old programs for a #44 at IFG.
