Cole Bodine Gets Grants ride
 

Cole Bodine will be taking over Justin Grant’s midget ride for CMR Racing.

Bodine has been in three USAC races. Took 2nd in first race on 7/15 in Missouri. Didn’t make feature at Indy and took 12th at Leffler Memorial. Plus 2nd at Kokomo Klash local show, so he is pretty good and not just a mechanic.

Raced 2 POWRi events, missed feature and 9th.

Ballou has a post up on twitter of a post that Grant made. It says it is immediate. He has a ride for rest of 2018 in someone else's equipment.

I'm guessing there were meetings after the weekend in Cali & his run ins with Courtney.

He also sounds like he is taking his portion of the NOS sponsorship with him.

Don't forget Brett! (unlike Todd, he "won" ONE Cup race...lol - whole bunch of controversy around that tho. He did - legitimately - finish 2nd to Gordon in the inagural Brickyard 400 too tho!)

Course he had to spin his brother out to get that 2nd place finish. Lol

No relation to the Bodine's of NASCAR. Cole is a great young man who has a passion for this sport second to none. He comes from a great family and has busted his rear end to get where he is now. Hopefully he can continue to impress and lock down a full ride for next season!
