Williams Grove?

Sounds like a bad wreck at Williams Grove. Feature was canceled?

Saw on twitter that a sprint flipped, killing one of the tow truck crew members.

It’s a shame that it takes someone losing their life for that to become a requirement.

Just red he was one of the push truck drivers.

I was just there last weekend and could not believe how close you could get to the track. I remember when Eldora had a very low catch fence along the inside. Prayers go out to his family and friends.

The report from Williams Grove was that with two laps to go in the 410 sprint car feature, Anthony Macri and Robbie Kendall tangled on the homestretch with Macri flipping over the inside fence and onto a push truck where the driver was standing in the back of. The 68 year old man was killed and the feature and the rest of the evening (358 feature to follow) were cancelled with Freddie Rahmer declared the 410 winner. Our prayers go out to the family of the man who died and to Macri and all who had to witness this tragedy. May we all pull together and support everyone involved.

Mr Speck was a retire school teacher and seasoned push truck driver at several local tracks. The local racing community mourn his loss.

Thoughts and prayer go out to his family and also to the drivers involved in the cars last night.
