R.I.P Dave Jones
 

:13: I just received the dreaded call from Dave Jr, we have lost a very dear friend to many of us in the racing community. Dave Jones, for many years the pit gate attendant at Gas City - I69 Speedway, passed away at 11:15 AM. this morning.

Please keep Dave's family in your thoughts and prayers and when I get the visitation and funeral arrangements I will pass them on to you.

[B]Viewing will be Monday October 19th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the:
Needham Story Wampner Funeral Home

On Tuesday morning there will be a short viewing from 10:00AM to 11:00AM then a funeral service at 11:00AM at the
St. Paul's Episcopal Church

So sorry to hear about Davey passing. Tom, be sure to let us know the arrangements and if the family needs anything. You have our number. He will truly be missed at the pit gate at Gas City. Our prayers are with the family. Who wil keep Tom and Cathy out of trouble!!
