I did a little checking, and it appears that his last NASCAR race was back in 2018.

Ran Nascar for a bit. Not sure since. Maybe one of the driving experiences or something.

Was at that race, Three at the wire. Whitt on the bottom, Boat up top and Darland thru the middle for the win.

Race is on Youtube somewhere.
Also the track raced great but was dusty as heck, remember a midget week where a sprint car flipped off the back straight and it was three laps before they threw the red.

Yeah, it was quite the race. That joint reminds me of a small version of Eldora. Dusty, though; and lots of rocks. Pretty sure there was a paved track under the dirt. Casey Shuman told me that his uncle won a midget race on the asphalt there. Here is a shot of Whitt talking to Dave after the finish. They put on one hell of a show. https://live.staticflickr.com/2636/3...2cd88a04_o.jpgDSC_2445 by Carey Akin, on Flickr

Actually asking each other who won. Then WOOOO from DD.
Transponder is what decided it. It was too close to call.
