USAC at Lawrenceburg 10/3

It's been years since I've been to Lawrenceburg. We might try to make the 6 hr. drive this Saturday, so I want to make sure I have my ducks lined up before I do.

1.) Is Lawrenceburg open seating or reserved? And how many rows are TYPICALLY seat saved if it is open seating?

2.) Any recommendations on local motels? The wife is not in to places where you have to fight the roaches for bed space, so I'm usually looking for places like Hampton, Comfort, etc.

3.) How are the food concessions at Lawrenceburg? One thing better than another?

Thanks in advance

1. Open Seating. Don't know how many rows are typically saved.

2. There is a Riverside Inn and a Holiday Inn Express within a mile of the track.

3. Personally I love the LaRosa's Pizza. Chicken Tenders are very good. I haven't tried it but heard the chocolate covered cheesecake is good as well.

Its all open seating and pit gate opens at 3 or 4 while the main gate is five. So seats are saved but you still can find good seats up till race time. At least halfway up or more of the 22 rows.

If you get there later around 530-6 the pit gate and another gate at the back of the main grandstand is a shorter line. Restrooms, stands, concessions all top notch. Tenderloin looked good and the chili cheese fries are great, Got Burgers, metts, dogs, hot wings, tenderloin, nachos, pretzels, popcorn and corn dogs.

Hope you have a great time.

Thank you all for the responses! Still remains to be seen if we will make it up there, but I really appreciate the input!

Great! Now I'm craving a Tenderloin and there's no place I know of around here to get one.
