Just to make my phone go quiet, USAC never agreed to or guaranteed anything for the dates of January 13-16. The Speed Sport story is not accurate & nobody checked with anybody here.

Fake news or not..if you are going to bring it back,,,, bring it back like it was when I ran it..SC,Sprint,Midget,Super Mod,, and the very first truck race was part of it as well.

Would love to see the old Copper Classic format minus the trucks I think I remember seeing that first truck race on TV, !995 rings a bell and I think skinner won? I didn't care for the trucks much in those days, now I watch them once in a while to see open wheel guys that get a ride

Pavement Midgets on a mile (plus) is dead, let it go. Paved Sprints on the mile is shocking to me that they think they can make it happen; I thought sprints on that big of a track was dead also.
But run silver crown, run the NASCAR regional, run the late models, run the trucks, run the Indy Lights and Indy Cars as part of it. If you can get a group of Super Modifieds to run, run them. Run the sprints if you can.
If you are running for 3 or 4 days; the way Pavement formats are run 10 classes.
