New to Racing

Hey guys I've never raced before but was told a micro or mini would be a good place to start. I could use some advice on which is a better option and the best place to find one for sale.

Best one for you would be what is closer to you. Personally we started in 1000cc Mini Sprint/Lightning sprints 7 years ago, but the track was 15 miles from us.

My first suggestion would be as Cody said, post your location. This will help a lot since micros and minis run in 2 completely different regions of Indiana. Micros are primarily the north western part of the state, whereas minis(1000cc) are primarily the southern part of the state. Both are about equal on entry level equipment cost, though micros seem to have a better parts availability/national following.

Then when you find a track you like that not to far to drive go fine somebody to help at that track on there car and see what your getting into you just don’t work on these cars at the track it’s all week long deal to race on Saturday night have fun and you will spend money speed cost money how fast do you want to go
