FAST on Dirt 410's @ Twin Cities Sat. 4/20

FAST Set for Twin Cities Raceway Park Saturday

The stars and cars of the 2019 FAST on Dirt winged 410 sprint car tour will travel to North Vernon, Indiana this Saturday, April 20th. It will be stop number 3 for the series, and thus far, Justin Peck of Monrovia, Indiana has proven the man to beat. The opening two rounds have been won by Peck, in his family owned number 5x. He held off Joey Saldana and Lee Jacobs opening night at Atomic Speedway, then backed it up a day later, leading all 30 laps over an all star field of drivers at Waynesfield Raceway Park, defeating Cap Henry, Cale Conley, and 19 others.

Shades of yesteryear will be all around the 3/8 mile dirt oval, which once hosted many winged 410 sprint car events. All Star Circuit of Champions winners at TCRP include Kevin Huntley (1993) and Frankie Kerr (1994). The 1993 event found Kelly Kiner and Joey Saldana completing the podium. Kinser's son, Kody Kinser, is an expected entry this weekend, and Joey Saldana will return 26 years later, fresh out of retirement, chasing the 2019 FAST championship.

Nearly all of the current top 10 in FAST points are expected. The current standings are Justin Peck, Cole Duncan, Lee Jacobs, Joey Saldana and Jacob Hesson in the top 5. The balance of the top 10 is Jordan Harble, Cody Bova, Bradley Ashford, Tyler Gunn and Cap Henry. Several Atomic Speedway regulars and Indiana / Illinois wing specialists are also expected. They will be chasing the $3,000 to win first prize. Complete main event payout is as follows: 3000, 1500, 1000, 700, 600, 550, 500, 475, 450, 425, 400, 380, 360, 340, 320, 300, 300, 300, 300, 300. Heat race and bonus awards will also be up for grabs courtesy of our many fine sponsors listed below.

Pit gates will open at 3 pm with drivers meeting set for 5 and hot laps at 5:30 and racing at 7 pm. General admission will be $20 with pit passes at $35. The TCB Speed parts trailer will be on hand with fuel, tires and more. Track management reminds race teams to get to the track via State Route 50 and County Road 75 East.

There are NO membership or entry fees for FAST events. Cars must run flat top wings with maximum 2" wickerbill. Weight rule is 1400 pounds with driver after the event. Tires must be 4 corner Hoosier. Left rears must be "H" series. Right rears can be "H" or "Medium" or "W18".

Make plans now to join us for a special evening and an all out assault on the Twin Cities Raceway Park all time track record! Pure Stocks, Hornets and Super Stocks will also be on the card.

Re: FAST on Dirt 410's @ Twin Cities Sat. 4/20

For those of you not familiar with FAST - this is what WAS the BOSS winged events last year. We took the FAST name from Fremont Speedway promoter Rich Farmer who wanted to see it become a true regional touring series.

For those wondering about car counts - here is OUR history with winners so far:

5/12/18 - Atomic Speedway (BOSS Wing) - 27 cars (Brandon Wimmer)
8/31/18 - Gas City Speedway (BOSS Wing) - 26 cars (Gio Scelzi)
9/29/18 - Montpelier Speedway (BOSS Wing) - 29 cars (Cole Duncan)
4/6/19 - Atomic Speedway (FAST) - 27 cars (Justin Peck)
4/7/19 - Waynesfield Raceway (FAST) - 22 cars (Justin Peck)

So the average wing car count is 26 under our promotion
