Safety

Two extremely hot days ahead. Remember light clothing, head cover and water. Feel free to add to this list

First year I won't make at least one sprint week race since it started in the eighties as Sprint Week. Usually make two or three.

Feel fine now, Yesterday and last night, not so much.

Everyone have fun and don't forget some BACON! He needs a Don Smith for his Trophy Case.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Water, Gatorade, Pedialite, whatever works for you. And no, alcohol doesn’t count. Seriously folks, the heat is no joke. Be safe and stay cool.

Ice cream might help too, just sayin’.

Ice Cream is mandatory.

I won’t be attending. My stepsons wife’s mother died and I will be at the visitation.
I am skipping Putnamville too. Bloomington is still a question mark. Definitely be at Tri-State.
Top row reserved seat.

Heat is nothing to ignore. Here's an example of what can happen to a driver. This was at Oswego Speedway. I believe it was 2003 when it happened.

Tony White, died of a heart attack during a heatwave last summer at Oswego Speedway. White, the track's limited super modified rookie of the year in 2002, was 37 when he lost consciousness during a Saturday night feature only hours after the temperature soared to 90 degrees.

Be Safe!!!
