It's more of a league, like the NFL or NBA. You cannot just show up with your football team and join the AFC North Division. They have their structure - The Concorde Agreement.

An elite club, eh? A racing organization where one cannot come in and try to race. I cannot think of any series on this side of the hemisphere that works that way. It is what it is, I guess.

No other series gets the TV money F-1 does. It's too bad they can't split it up, but apparently, they only way they will let him in, is if he buys into another team. I just hope he doesn't do smthn like try to start another US series or smthn...
