Kentucky Lake motorspeedway
I know this is a indiana board but KLMS released their schedule last night and I was shocked to see USAC to be on it October 17. Hope they have a good turn out. Hope ppl travel to support this show!!

I just looked at the schedule again, and it appears the open wheel modifieds are receiving $3000 to win, and they are the featured division. |

Beautiful facilities, hated driving by it while it sat vacant. Glad it is up and running, wish I was closer to go. Hope they have a great season. I am pumped to see a open wheel show their!!

I emailed Klms & Usac about the payout and why it's not on the schedule on usacracing. But no response yet.

Re: Kentucky Lake motorspeedway
This is definitely intriguing; a race I'd like to attend.
As of now, looking at their schedule, I hope they really don't intend to run 4 other classes on what will sure to be a cold October night. That might keep me away. |
They have like an 11:00 curfew and they are strict about it. I've raced there several times and we were done by 10 or 1030 even on the big show nights

Confirmed today per USAC website
SPRINTS ADD OCTOBER DATE AT KENTUCKY LAKE AMSOIL USAC National Sprint participants can look forward to the first series race in Kentucky in 16 years and the first on dirt since 1990 when Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City hosts the Sprints October 17. The last series race on Kentucky dirt came at Comtrax Motor Speedway in Glasgow and was won by Jack Hewitt. |
Re: Kentucky Lake motorspeedway
This is the night after the sprint portion of the Kokomo Klash. Could be a long haul for some teams (and spectators).
