Eldora on Saturday and Winchester 400 on Sunday . A great way to end the 2013 racing season. Hope to see some of my IOW friends. :22::22:

Eldora is going to be a barn burner! Looks like the BOSS championship is going to come down to the last lap! Add two other classes of sprintcars to the card, and you have a great show!

Me, it's Haubstadt. Not only do I want to hear sprint cars, I want to be able to see them.

Think since Plymouth Speedway was rained out this weekend and rescheduled next weekend this would be a great show not to miss. Practice Friday the 11th and racing Saturday the 12th on the new configured track. Their last show of the season also.

That might be my plan as well. Depends on weather I think. If its warm enough, I might setup camp over at Eldora and head over the Waynesfield then return for a fire and some suds.

Now that is funny racephoto! Waynesfield and Eldora for me as well...........and then, sadly, my cooler, seat cushion, and racing shirts will be stored until spring.

Larsonfan,

If the weather is good the next weekend there will be Kokomo and North Vernon the next weekend. If the weather is good why not shoot for at least one of them.

Haubstadt for me. If the weather looks good I'm thinking of hitting the Short Track Nationals at I-30 later this month. Anybody ever been and if you have how was it? I know it's wing but beggars can't be choosers this time of year. It could be a beautiful drive with good weather.

Jacksonville Speedway here for the $4,000 to win Shaheen's Blast from the Past Midwest Open Wheel Association 410 winged sprint car season finale.

I have been to the short track nationals several times, it's well worth the trip. Always 100 plus sprint cars, and sprint cars only. However, if the Sat race is rained out, they will NOT make it up on Sunday.

Sounds tempting - haven't been to either track. If you had to pick one, which race would you go to?

$4k to win at Haubstadt should bring in a 30 car field, right?

Miledirt. Doubt it. Mid 20s be more like it. We might pick 2 or 3 cars up from putnamville not running but I wouldnt excpet anything over 30. Im not saying I could be wrong just telling ya from past experience. Nobody wants to run against the best in the country which is the regulars at tri state race in race out. With a fantastic show!

racephoto1 10/7/13 8:50 PM

Re: Racing this Saturday Oct 12

Tri State is the biggest paying non wing show left in the Midwest. It is going to be all heavy hitters Saturday night. Should be a great show, but at Tri State they all are.

Not even close. Kokomo by a landslide.
