Wish Indiana and other states had a plan like this. Seems like a smart move by track promoters in Illinois.

An impressive, authoritative and “leading from the front” document. Provides hope for the resumption of our USA tours in 2021.

Nicely done by the Coalition. sadly, the entire time I was reading this, I heard the sound of a certain someone saying "we will let science dictate the course of action" in my head. I'm hopeful for all of our IL tracks this can get approved.

POWRi’s press releases have mentioned working on updated schedules for June. At this point, given the available information, if this proposal was enacted you’d be looking at crowds of 20% capacity during those dates.

I don’t know if a promoter would want to put on that type of show with those restrictions.

Maybe Kenny Dobson would generously give us an idea of what it would take (from a ticket price perspective) to make a show like that work from a 20% crowd capacity (as I write this I realize it could seem snarky but I am honestly just curious-I have a lot of respect for him and always value his well-thought our explanations).

Why would Indiana need a plan like Illinois if things are trending right by July 4 Indiana would be open 100%. Once again if you want to succeed and grow never watch or copy anything Illinois does because other than cheap housing they have nothing to offer. Only way powri speedweeks and the summernationals will happen is if there is intervention from the federal attorney general to put a end to whats been given has the plan for re opening in IL.

Illinois falling further behind just was sent a text Kentucky racing June 1. Illinois promotors need to get there local reps to contact the federal people and get this downstate opened back up, no major issues south of I 80 and today was 8 weeks since this all hit the brickhouse.
