Lincoln Park Speedway face covering mandate begins July 27th
 

At this time:
1) Yes, face masks will be required for the July 30th race and so on until the order is lifted.
2) A face shield (this needs to cover nose and mouth area) is considered another option.
3) This item will need to be worn properly to be served at the gates, novelty stand, concessions, etc.
4) The exception to wearing the face mask/face shield is when eating or drinking.

We understand that this requirement could be an inconvenience for some, but this is a requirement that allows us to continue enjoying our race season.

Don’t see anyone wearing any mask at Gas City.... even the FloRacing folks have no mask! Hmm

Not to say that things will be much different next week, only time will tell, but the heading clearly states the mandate starts Monday the 27th.

State mandate goes into effect Monday the 27th. Until then it’s each county’s decision. The county Gas City is in must not have a mask mandate. That’s why there are not many masks being worn here and that’s why masks are required at LPS next week.

Just eat peanuts slowly then no mask needed. Which is what we normally do anyhow. Throwing shells around creates natural social distancing.

There were more masks at Gas City than I've seen at any track this summer.
