Best of luck to a great guy. I really enjoyed talking to him at Eldora, Deer Creek & Superior, WI. ALWAYS approachable and very friendly.

I'm not sure how to post the link but there was a episode of Hidden Heroes with Dave Bowman that is excellent about the Hoffman's and Rich Vogler.
Hopefully someone can search utube and post it.. Talk about a man that has seen the good and unfortunate in racing.. Good luck in the future Rob Hoffman |

Interesting tidbit. Rob studied the rules and they built those cars in their own shop. Vogler had the motor deal with Buick and a Tire deal. So all thier pavement program really cost was the haul too and from and the pit passes.

Not to say they're will never be a race team in Loveland, but at least not for now. Rob Retired after last season, BUt agreed to build and chief the car for the Little 500 (Smokes bucket list race) and they finished third :) |
