Thanks Oppweld for putting this up, I have to study a little more before I submit my picks. I entered a pick-em contest on twitter for the Don Martin Memorial tonight which Kyle Larson just got done winning. It was really well done, had prizes and everything. Maybe for next year we can do something like that for ISW

I know people don't like to hear it but the forecast Friday-Sunday looks absolutely abysmal. Could this turn into a straight week of racing if Monday-Saturday has more favorable weather?

It would be nice, but last time no one came to the make up race. It was a big money loser, and the smallest crowd I have seen at Sprint Week race since USAC came on board. I was at the very first race at Avilla.

Big Game Hunter 7/18/18 5:40 PM

Then I guess they should just cancel all the races for Sprint week that get rained out and not try to make them up for other days

I agree that is why rescheduling is tough. Thank you for making my point.

david mitchell 7/18/18 8:18 PM

I believe we are going to be looking at some sort of Mon thru Sat or possibly Sunday whether people have jobs or not. There are plenty of people here on vacation and from overseas.More than enough for crowds.Besides,Terre Haute and Putnamville are already on work nights and they seem to do well ,and Sunday final night would be an excellent closer at Kokomo.Lets hope all the shows get in one way or another.Good news is it will be cool😹

flagboy55 7/19/18 12:15 AM

Plymouth - hoping Robert found his comfort zone, he was close in the spring, I'll take Ballou.
Kokomo - I'm going with Justin Grant on this one, seems he's been getting better and I think he's due
Lawrenceburg - Going with the "Peoples Champ" Dave parks it here
Terre Haute - Chase Stockon on top of the podium at the Action Track
Putnamville - Kevin Thomas jr. won't crash out of the lead this time and wins at LPS
Bloomington - provided that T-Mez is in the Briscoe car and Brady is tuning, should be a winning combo on the red clay
Haubstadt - going with Carson Short at the Class Track
ISW Champ - Brady Bacon
Hoping for a great competitive sprint week. Hope everyone has a great time and stays safe

Just thought I'd bump this thread back up to the top to see how we're doing here. :D

As of THAT, we have four who have scored once. Everyone else still has a goose egg.

Plymouth / Bacon: Wingman
THAT / Courtney: oppweld, hupp#9, bvall24

OH, the excitement of a contest!

Okay. Okay. You got me on a technicality - technically, I missed it.

Well.... I have to admit - you are correct. You have not picked incorrectly since the start. However, to have a fair contest, one must actually choose a winner, not a loser. :)

Feel free to make picks (victors) for the remaining two races though, Chief.

On a sidebar, I have no idea how I became involved in this. I never picked ANYONE. I just thought I would provide an update or two.

The excitement heading into Bloomington tonight is at a BOIL! Pins and needles and edges of seats we are all on, I tell you! A possible free shirt could also be up for grabs (thanks to Mrs. G)!

What? Not sure I understand all of this...Was this explained when we did the Picks. Do the rules change along the way? I thought this was just friendly casual competition.
