WALKOUT SONGS FROM THE 2022 SMACKDOWN FIELD

Kokomo, Indiana (August 29, 2021)………From Dolly Parton to Dr. Dre, music plays an introductory role in one of the great Saturday night traditions of Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Sprint Car Smackdown at Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway.

Leading up to the feature event, each USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship competitor in the entirety of the field chose the song they would like to walk out to during their moment in driver introductions.

Here is a sample of some of the tunes chosen by a number of the drivers for their introduction last Saturday night.

I'm always a little curious what other people's musical tastes are especially if we have some other commonality like say race cars.

I cared when Ballou walked out to Workin’ 9 to 5. Winner winner.

I was going to stick up for Mike, but then I took the time to find and listen to "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" by Primus the was T-Mez' selection. Simply classic.
