Prayers for Tom Patterson, longtime sprint car driver, who is hospitalized after a hard crash Friday night at Kalamazoo Speedway. Patterson was racing with Auto Value Super Sprints.

Always a class act. Tom always had some great logic, and humor.

How about someone come up with a T-Shirt, or something that can can be promoted.

Bump

Tom was transferred to a Mary Free Bed rehab center in Grand Rapids MI to start his recovery. I am sure once his head stops spinning he'll have quite a story to write.

I’d like to thank everyone for the texts, cards, phone calls and general well wishes over the last couple weeks since my accident. I am now home from the hospital and resting comfortably.

The rescue crew at Kalamazoo Speedway were fantastic as well as the various doctors and nurses at the hospitals.

While I’m not ready to travel much yet, I hope to see everyone at a racetrack soon.

I'm doing well and getting better every day. As stated, I went to a very entertaining Auto Value Super Sprint race at New Paris Speedway last night. All the staples in my back have been removed and I start physical therapy Tuesday.
