Maybe 20 minutes East of Louisville on Indiana Highway 62. Track is about 3 miles north of 62 on Highway 3. Right now goes under the name of podium one.

Re: Charlestown Motor Speedway

No, its dirt. Been used as a motocross track, but owner see's the potential of racing a weekly oval show.

The only thing I know for sure is it will be a Saturday show.

Good Luck:6: and hope you have success especially when tracks are falling like flies due to the economy w/ help from our government.

Re: Charlestown Motor Speedway

Thanks, No, its not easy to make it. We are going to concentrate on low budget racers, and low prices at the gate. Gonna put a little twist to it by having some motocross features along with the oval racing events. We are looking at Mini Trucks, Mini Stocks, FWD, Street stocks, Bombers, Mini Sprints, TQ's, etc. I know others will read this , so don't go building a car. In about 2 weeks I will know more. We will be puting a schedule together, and I will release it . If anyone has any uestions please call me at 502-526-2562. Thanks Everyone

From what I member this track could be pretty racey with a good effort in track prep. We ran there with SCORA and it was slick and dusty from the get go. It has good banking in 3&4 and we ran pretty fast on the slick up against the gaurdrail.
