Driver of all time?

I would have to go with Bob Kinser, although Dave Darland would be a close second. My first memories of sprint car racing were at Putnamville, so that kinda swayed my vote.

Mine is AJ. He raced and possibly beat Tommy Hinnershitz. He beat Opperman, Bettenhausen, Dickson, Ward,etc. You get the picture.

No wrong answer here. My favorite of all time would be Opperman.

I only got to see him race a handful of times but I gotta say BIG Jud Larson :9: :8:

My dad, late uncle and late grandfather were huge AJ fans.(me too) but I never did have the opportunity to see him in person.

Larry Dickson. Of course this is pointless, so many greats, different eras, cars, etc, but fun to read.

It's obvious mine, the best rivals of all time Jan Opperman and Kenny Weld

My first favorite was Doug Wolfgang.
Then...Rich Vogler, Bobby George "the flyin Hawaiian", Cary Faas, Kevin Doty and Daron Clayton in that order through the years.

I guess I'd have to say Kenny Irwin. That's who I liked as a kid watching USAC Thunder shows. Didn't get to watch him long as my earliest memories of life in general is 1995, and of racing expansively 1996. And Kenny went trucks in '97.. but yea, Kenny was my USAC guy at the time when he went to NASCAR.

Started out as a kid it was Dick Gaines, then Steve Kinser followed by a young Jeff Gordon when he started here in the Midwest. Over the past few years it has been Stanbrough and presently KTjr.

Not going to name an all time fav, but I HAVE seen Daron Clayton do things in a non-wing car that I have seen very few others do.
