Geoff Kaiser injured Sunday
Geoff was injured yesterday while testing a midget. He has some fractured vertebrae and will need to be in a back brace to heal. He is in the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He is in a lot of pain but has no other apparent injuries. There will be several very rough days until the swelling and bruising subside.
The accident happened when the car slid off the track and dug in to the soft earth and did a series of flips. It landed right side up, but that final landing was what caused the compression of the vertebrae. I will update as news is available. |

Re: Geoff Kaiser injured Sunday
As an old pro in spinal injuries I feel for you. Make sure your Dr. is good and more important is your therapist. Being a dumb@** bike racer I went to work two days after a neck fracture. At the time I didnt relize the extent of my injury till awhile later, by then the bones healed kinda weird and not as strong. A mistake I wish I didnt make. Hang in there buddy, them there midgets bite.
