Are you going to water the track this week?

Chris Nunn 3/23/15 8:39 PM

We watered it last week. Can't keep the wind and sun down though. We know what we need to do this week

BrownstownSpeedway 3/24/15 5:16 AM

Four more days!

What's the running order for Saturday so the sprint fans don't have to be out all night in the cold don't care about mods or tq's just going to watch sprints

Chris Nunn 3/24/15 7:13 AM

We will stagger our the schedule to make sure the sprint feature is done first. Here's how I'd do it

Sprint hot laps
Mod hot laps
Sprint time trials
Tq hot laps
Sprint heats
Mod heats
Sprint b mains
Tq heats
Sprint main
Mod b mains
Tq feature
Mod feature

They still going to run Saturday with a high of 42 and a low of 24? Going to be bone chilling for the fans?

If they dig it up now and let the 1.5 inches of rain they're supposed to get soak in. Should be great.

BrownstownSpeedway 3/24/15 12:44 PM

The sprint feature will be over first. A running order will be determined later this week. We have a few drivers that will be pulling double duty so we are taking that into consideration as well. It takes all classes supporting the track to make nights like this happen, however, everyone can be rest assured the sprint feature will be over first.

They need to run sprint feature last. Every track runs sprint feature first. When sprint feature is run first most drivers are gone by the end of the night, not giving fans in stands the chance to meet them. If sprint feature is run last it would give fans in the stands time to meet the drivers, and maybe generate more fans. If you want to try and build a fan base this might help.

Some don't care what fans think.they're selfish asses like 1021gpa."we're Sprint drivers and that's all that matters".

Re: 7th Annual No Way Out 40...ARE YOU READY?

Looks like a lot don't want the race to run at all.

As for sprints last, Im fine with that when the low is going to be 65, Not 25*

the tracks to dry, The tracks too dusty, etc. It hasn't even run yet. Blah blah. Go or go not. there is no whine!

Shame, I've been to every one for the last five or six years and enjoyed em all.
Not to many 7g to win and good purse races left.

Keep it up...............

Chuck
