Now I know everyone is pumped about this event like always. However the weather could be a big IF question. For those of you with twitter accounts. Please follow @BeauDodson @MoeWx @SouthernINWx. These guys are spot on with weather for this area and are very skilled. All I can say is have your fingers crossed.

I'm really hoping the weather holds off for this race. I bought some of the presale reserved seats just so I could make it.

Yeah me too. Seems like Thursday and Friday are the main days for the rain. Saturday is starting to look more promising. Still a long ways off for the forcast to change.

Seems like every time I plan to go down there it rains. So I'm sure since I got reserved seats it will rain.

I was rained out twice last year down there. Third time was the charm. Was worth the wait.

Weatherman tonight says no rain till Friday AM and that could be stormy but Sat. looking better than it was earlier in the week with spotty showers expected. They'll have a much better idea of what will happen when it happens.

Morning local weather report said 25% of early sat showers and clearing after that.

For a very detailed in indepth look at the weather follow @MoeWx @BeauDodson. Gathering from what they have said, one model says dry and the other says rain. Please just follow those guys. I don't even mess with the local tv meteorologists anymore. Not saying they don't know what they're talking about but they only get a few minutes to discuss the weather. However they guys on twitter much more time and get more in depth.

Strange, as was I! But that one race I did get to see was very, very good.

Me and the mailman will be going that way saturday. Will there be good seats for general admision tickets we plan on getting there early (3 hour drive) but hope to get good seats. Go madman !!!!

If the weather cooperates, I am thinking of going down there. Do you know if they will be opening the ticket booths early due to expected crowd size?

They will open ticket sales at the time they announced. That hasn't changed in many years.

I haven't saw a bad seat in the house any time I have been. Just hoping the rain stays away.

Weather Channel says 10% chance of rain for tonigh:6:t So Lets go racing Heading out the door now for my tireing 10 minute drive;)

First time seeing the Outlaws in at least 10 years. I enjoyed the MOWA race here so much last year I decided to come today. Plus the Madman is here tonight!

Place is packed in like sardines with people. Biggest crowd I have seen in my 30 plus years here.

Glad to be here and apart of my first wing race in at least 10 years.

Wouldn't matter how good a race it was because most people on this board wouldn't admit it if it has a wing on it.

The Madman is starting 12th, and I ain't talking about the guy from Australia that the announcer keeps calling the madman. Go # 12.

They put Robert back one row back to start for being late for lining up.

The A is rolling off now, I promise nothing to exciting as of yet. Will likely be a good feature though. It's typical wing racing so far with follow the leader. I have a feeling it's going to get better now though.
