Anyone know the 2014 schedule? Thanks.

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
I was just wondering the same thing. Any word on mtqrl schedule either?
|
King series released their full schedule at the banquet and I don't believe any conflict so far with the mtqrl races scheduled.
|
Hopefully well have a nice full schedule with both clubs. I may not have a driver though!

Can someone post it

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Looks awesome!! Thank you for posting.
|
Looks like a blast to me! All of the good tracks from last year's schedule are back. Plus the Michigan Nationals! Sure would be nice to get a hold of 25 TQs from Michigan and show em what fast looks like. Hopefully Rocketman 24 shows up!

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
I don't see many people going to a few of those they would 3-4 hour drives for some of us. Otherwise pretty cool.
|
Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Montpelier is two and a half hours from Cincinnati and with mtqrl going there 8 times I'm very happy to see Moler and Liberty on this schedule.

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
A part of me really wants to get another TQ. But losing to Spiedel every weekend would get old! :3:

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Jake, saw your Dad the other day, and Mom and Granny. You'll have to stop by sometime and see if you can still fit in my car, I don't think "Speedial" is gonna run it any, and I don't know how much time Kyle will have, "speedial" likes it, or at least that's what he told me, he looked good in it anyway. Bob!

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Jason you should try to get ahold tommy keyhoe and try to buy that old beast. I got his number from marylyn years ago but didn't wanna sell back then.
|
Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Mike, that is not a Beast, it is a Nichols, a twin to the one Teegarden has and won his championship in. I was just talking to Larry, he said the last time he talked to Tom, the car still wasn't for sale, someone would buy it after he's gone. Bob built 3 that year, one for Larry, one for Tom, and one for himself. Bob!

I know it's not a beast chassis just a beast of a car. Tom said he'd moved like 1000 miles away and the car would probably sit until he passed away. Such a shame. Where did the 3rd car ever end up, last I saw Brian Meyer had it, but that was several years ag

Moler doesn't run Saturdays I think that's a typo

I was told teegaurden let lynch copy the old 71 car loosely and thats what lynch's new cars were. I remember bob showing a picture of all three of them together at his house after they were all coers's the red 71 and tom's car, didn't knoke have one of those too? Haven't seen jason since those two indoor races where he rans tom's car. It's so hard to keep track of some of these cars anymore! I never did know what happened to the Danny Warren chassis we had that we bought off of huggins, perdue bought it from us then I have no idea where it went. It's cool how all these cars have a history!

Moler is running a special Saturday show that week they r at moler

Re: King of Indiana tqs?
Hope to see thirty at No Way Out! Come on March...

We keep in touch with Tom quite a bit. When I ran his car back in 2004 he said I should just keep it here in Indiana and run it when I wanted but I passed on it at the time. May have to re-visit that conversation with him sometime. It's definitely a fast car and Tom always had good motors. As for the picture of Bob Nichols and the three cars, the only Nichols chassis in the picture was Chris Coers. My car was a Stapp chassis we bought off Danny Roberts that we ended up selling to Jason Willis. I'm not sure what kind of car Scheffel had. They all had some Nichols magic in them somehow though, either in the chassis or engine (Bob built my engines which were awesome and super reliable).

If it wasn't for Bob I wouldn't know a quarter of what I know now about racing or working on cars I spent every chance I got in the shop with him from the time I was a little kid watching him help Jason till the time I was a teen and driving one of his mini sprints he grew to be more of a grandpa figure to me than anything he was a great guy and no matter what you needed he had the answer or a backwoods dependable way to fix it
