I had planned on doing updates for the BOSS race, but without a Verizon cell tower in the area I gave up.

It was a great show! Bacon, Westfall and Hall put on a great three way battle up front for the entire race. Meanwhile, the top three points runners were started together in the back. I don't know if Mike Miller was hard charger or not but he really made the points battle interesting.

Congratulations to Tony Beaber on his championship and Brady Bacon on the win.

High Vista video was on hand. Great racing in the heats and b's as well. If you were unable to attend, the video will be well worth the money.

Haudenschild put on a great show in the tin tops too!

Well Yeah, When you are not used to back to back nights of nothing but sprints it just boggles the mind. I'm still boggling today & I like it.

Gw275 10/13/13 7:14 PM

Dustin smith was driving the 48x last night with a 305 in it and walked away in the b main.

Nate 10/14/13 2:00 AM

Is it just me or has Eldora been stingy on the water this year? It's always been a dust bowl especially during the longer races like the World 100 but the track was a cloud of dust after the 1st heat last night. Kind of disappointed with it this year.

treecitytornado 10/14/13 9:40 AM

There was a thick layer of dust on our car, truck, trailer, etc. It did make it more difficult to see at times especially coming off turn 2. It was smooth though!

looked to me like they pounded it hard as a brick with a g-zillion late models last week and didn't touch it afterwards, other than dumpin a little water on top of it to run off right before the racing on sat? none the less there was some mighty fine racin/ I do hate inhaling dust though

"a g-zillion late models"?? Eldora hasn't raced late models since the World 100 back in September. If you were referring to the UMP Nationals, it was modifieds not late models...the late models didn't race due to the rain out.

Dust or no dust, the racing was some of the best racing I have ever seen.
