$160.00 trash bag

Had a wonderful trip to Paragon race track. Got 5 pit passes and a rain out. 150 in pit passes and $10.00 in change which the gentleman forgot to give back to dad and dad forgot to ask for. Busy writing his name and talking I guess and didn't realize until leaving the mud puddle. L.O.L. racing is funny like that you could say. And not counting the $100.00 plus in fuel for a hopeful $500.00. LOL can't wait to go back. Just wish they would of called it when they saw their muddy drives. And rain heading in on the radar. So when we do go back, not $260.00 invested but $360.00 plus. Makes about as much sense as pulling in the place with a a $90,000.00 rig and a $45,000.00 car. Gotta love cherry pickers. LOL. I'm not complaining just laughing at my own expense.
HIGH FIVE if you like this one everyone.
Oh and if your wondering about the trash bag, if you have never gone to the place, well they give you a trash bag to take care of your own trash, that way they don't have to pay someone to go around and clean up the pit's.

Let me get this right... You saw impending rain on the radar heading for the track and you still made the conscious decision to spend the money and go anyway?

... I don't think the track is the one to blame.

wanted to race it appears. driver was ready, dad was ready, Dau. was ready, helper was ready and the radar showed a gap in the weather headed that way. So we took the shot. That's the roll of the dice. But thanks for the response anyways. Your a pretty good guy, you know who to blame.

Sounds like a common sense approach to me, sometimes we forget our trash bag, and on a lot of ocassions, I've seen trailers pull out, and looked like they had been parked on a landfill. RIfs! Bob

Dave Dispaine was correct when he said "racing is the only place where the clowns pay to be IN the circus". :3:

That's not a trash bag. You poke 3 holes in it and that's your raincoat.

We pay $200. every Sunday after race for trash pick up, if people would use trash barrels & bags this money could be added to purse.

I agree Keith, some people have no respect. Just care about themselves and that's it.

Who was the cherry picker?

Drew Tarr 6/30/13 4:39 PM

As a Paragon regular, i really enjoy the trash bags, and sure miss them when we go somewhere else. I see messes left by racers at every type of racetrack I have ever been to. It just makes me embarrased to be lumped into a group with people like that. I am pretty sure all of our parents told us to pickup after ourselves and leave a place as least as good as we found it. Obviously not evryone listened.

I have no idea most didn't even unload, started to sprinkle about 10 mins. after they opened the gates or so anyways. But you should of saw the rig. Most teams would love to have the setup they had. Had no advertisement on the exterior so couldn't tell you much more.
