Thunder showers a bit east of the track at the moment

**UPDATE** Showers appear to have stopped. Even though I just live a few miles from the track,maybe I should stay home tonight and watch live updates....

Just heard from Shaw and Danny B at the track. Raining lightly. 37 SC & 33 midgets. Rumor is they are cancelling quals but they would have to run some sort of race to eliminate the extra cars, dont really know what they are doing. I'm headed there shortly.

I am west of ORP 5 miles....rain has stopped..the "big one" has moved through..radar here looks like the rest of the storms are way north.....heading there now.....should be a go!!!

Jet dryers on track haven't herd anything as far as format though

Coleman reported from the Track that it is almost dry. He is there practicing but cannot race. The USAC Officials were good enough to let him get some seat time before Iowa which is much appreciated. If he is included in the 37 SC cars, you can take him off, he is not racing. We appreciate everyone letting the Iceman run with them. :6:

It is nice to see that many SC Cars. I hope we get a good count at Iowa too. Should be fun...

What did you click to get it? When I click USAC Live, all I get is a page showing the next race for each division.

The midget B on Video finished about 7 minutes behind the scoreboard.

Note that the midgets in the B are running about a tenth quicker than the Silver Crowns in practice.

With rain coming, wouldn't you think they'd run the SC race (for which they have a sponsor) before the midget feature? And, cut the pre-race festivities?

having been at ORP on several occasions, that is not how they roll. They will likely do driver intros, victory lane, interviews and every other non racing activity scheduled.

At 75 laps, Santos is stretching the lead over East, and East is stretching over a pretty good Fillip/Kaeding battle.
